Using a pen tablet or interactive pen display in Maya enables these brush tools to be used in the most natural and comfortable way. The pen’s pressure sensitivity makes controlling a brush’s radius and opacity easy, precisely and dynamically just by varying the applied pressure on the pen.

Additionally, special keys integrated in the newest Intuos pen tablet and Cintiq interactive pen display enable full navigation through the 3D-environment without the user having to constantly reach for the keyboard to make shortcuts.
